Post a photo of your fish or home aquarium setup.

Let's see what creative things are happening in Australian Aquariums!

To post a photo, you will need to host it somewhere offsite. Once you have done so, simply click the "Img" button and enter the URL where the photo is located.

An easy way is to use is1.gif

Simply:
1. Got to the http://www.imageshack.us website
2. Follow the directions to upload your image
3. Copy and paste the URL they give you into your forum message.

If you have any trouble, please send me or one of the moderators a private message and we'll help out.

    Resizing Photo's in Photobucket

Just in case some people don't know how... the following is how to resize your uploaded photo's in Photobucket, to allow for better viewing & page loading (especially for those still on dial-up or the slowest broadband speeds).

In photobucket, above each little photo is a menu: move | tag | edit | share | delete .

Click on the Edit title for that particular photo. Your photo will then load to a page on it's own.

Above the larger version of your photo you will see another menu: Full Size / Tag / Resize / Rotate / Share / Delete / Buy Prints.

Click on the resize option & choose "Message Board 640 x 480" This will automatically resize your pictures to a better size for forums such as this one.

Hope that helps anyone who's wondering "how to"

I copied your instructions using imageshack but when I preview it is only showing the address and not the actual photo. What have I done wrong?

--> I was using the wrong URL. You have to use the direct image url in the img tag for it to work.
