Maybe Dead Fish?

Hello,
Looking for a bit of assistance.
Have made my first two orders over the past fortnight. Both arrived today and on the whole, extremely satisfied.
Part of the order was 3 Swordtails.
When initially receiving the order I opened the box to check all fish were alive and well, at first glance all fish were active and swimming around. I then closed the box to keep the fish in a dark place whilst I set up all the equipment for transferring the fish. Probably only 10 minutes later I lifted up the bag of 3 swordtails and closer inspected the fish, two were lying on their side in the corner of the bag.
After removing the live fish into another bag I am left with 2 'dead' fish. However when I gently touch the fish through the bag they have a 5-6 second burst of swimming around (on their side still) and then lay back down at the bottom of the bag.
Is this a clear enough case to classify them as DOA?
Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers
Phil

Congrats on getting your first two orders, Sorry one group have suffered, Try adding some of your tank water to the bag, if they start to come good, start to acclimating them as normal, as it may be just lack of oxygen, hopefully they come good after getting some healthy water..if not, take a photo of them..& send em off with your email to livefish..Good luck

Thanks for the advice.
Have put one of the 'dead' fish in the tank and he lies on it's side at the bottom, however every 5 or so minutes will get a twitch and attempt a swim.
So far this has been going on for an hour or so. How long should I give him before giving up?
Cheers -
Hmm that doesn't sound good, very likely it will be dead by morning, I'd leave it n check for any over night deaths in the morning...So only one is acting like this? How are the other 2?

Ones was fantastic and is currently doing sensationally. The other was unfortunately completely doa so I didn't even try him in the tank just gave him a while in the bag and then just in a tub, but no signs of live.
All other fish are doing fantastic though! -
Oh ok so you have had mostly success, Still get those photos off to livefish with your email, If you haven't already..

So how did your fish go? Did you end up getting replacements?
-
Yeah, had a quick reponse from LF and got 'store credit' straight away, which was great. Purchased a black swordtail with the money which is doing fantastic.
