want to do a salt water tank

Hi.
Im buying a 3ftx3ft corner tank. I have only done fresh water tanks in the past and they have been a great success. It seems im a little addicted to fish now.
Thus i want to try salt water set ups. I have currently got no clue about salt water though. Basically, i want coral and a clown fish. Id like to know what is compatible with that. Also how to set it up and everything else i might need to know. I have been told its very expensive and that if i get a salt water tank i need to be home every day to maintain it.... How true is this?

the set up is the expensive part, with wave makers and protein skimmers ect, but
I found this web page it had lots of info on here, I my self have dreamed of salt water tanks but never had one up and running, but google is an amazing place

see how you go with that, try talking to your LFS if they are decent and get as much info from them -

Hey Frayk, Sharnee comes from the same town as me, and the pet shop up here is the biggest joke in Aus. They can't even tell the difference between an American Cichlid and an African Cichlid.

when I was looking into getting a salt water setup..... ive got a spare
4 foot tank in the shed with all the gear that I was going to use for it...
.... I also wanted an emperor angel..
green mandarin and I also found some where I could get spotted mandarin..
all online and delivered to my door.......!!!!!
i was even going to go for a trip to the coast and pick up a bucket of sea grass
for the tank............. -
