    Cool pics love the Bows.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams.

Time for an update I guess,
For some reason my larger rainbows all decided they had had enough and carked it whilst I was away (Boesemans' and lacustris) and so I was left with 3 smaller boesemans', 5 SAE's, 3 rummynose and 2 peppermints.
Deciding to change it up I ordered 14 Bedjal creek trifasciata from aquagreen which arrived yesterday. Unfortunately it looks like I was sent something different, my best guess being a Melanotaenia splendida inornata from some locality but they are nice fish so I am not to upset. 1 died during the night but considering travel distance and time it was to be expected.
Anyway so here is some pics of the tank now, the new arrivals are a bit tatty but already showing some nice colour so I guess we shall see what happens.

    Tank:

The 1 male boeseman, both sides:

Some SAE's (they are fun to photograph):

And the new arrivals (Maybe Melanotaenia splendida inornata, Mary River?):

Yep they look like my old chequered Mary River, still a nice looking fish one of the more colourful as they mature ;)

Nice trifasciata there Heintz, yeah I would be fine with it but I already have chequered's in my other tank from aquagreen.

Then I would contact Dave via email and see what happens. You do still have the paper work or email with what you originally ordered? if so you could arrange something with him, I always found him to be most helpful and accommodating.

    Cheers,

Yeah we sorted it out, they are Melanotaenia splendida inornata Remu. I'm back at school now but when I left they were all starting to display and I only lost one so it worked out fairly well in the end.

I'm glad, it worked out for you in the end ;)

Off topic, are you still at boarding school? and what are you hoping to become when it's all over.

I'm currently in year 12 Heintz, a bit stressful but everything's going alright for the moment. As for the future I'm unsure, I just attended a science olympiad school at ANU but that just complicated any ideas I had, hopefully an environmental course somewhere.

Here's some food for thought, Marine Biologist. A noble profession and you never know you just might get to save the oceans.

Good luck with year 12, you'll be ok.

Thanks, I would love marine biology but it's so hard to get a job with it from what I've seen.

Good luck with whatever you choose Rainbows.

I am currently teaching Outdoor Ed and Phys Ed (21st Year teaching, sometimes really good, sometimes difficult), well worth it though.

    Cheers,

    Bob

Rainbows, how about a specific genre, like say, the ocean & plastic pollution or something in the spotlight, better chances of grants later on ;) & good luck :D
