temps for plants

Hi all,im relatively new to the planted tank adventure,doing ok so far with varied success,my question is the thin val i have in my Saratoga tank at 28 degrees is feral,where as the broad leaf val in my threadfin/blue-eye tank,at 27 is turning to sludge and rotting,um,same ph,hardness,there abouts,is there a plant/water pref/temp scale?out there?Cheers

Might need ferts, Or Switch the broad leaf one to the thin

Good news!Val has picked up! Thanks Mooo,i changed the brand of ferts,upped the dose a tad after a 1/3rd% water change and the val has turned to green,the old stuff dying off, which i scooped out with my net. Cheers
