To much light for my amazon swords?

I have a four ft long tank, it's 14 inches wide and 18 tall. Around 200 lts.
Plastic week I got a quad bulb aquaone t5 light. I have been running all four lights, but my amazon swords look almost like they are burning. Should I maybe just run two of the bulbs? Help would be greatly appreciated :)

    Hi UDS,

Defiantly only use 2 tubes, 4 are to many for the tank, are they the ones that came with the housing.

If you are serious about your plants, I suggest to get 1x 6000k plant grow tube and 1x 6500k daylight tube.

    Cheers,

  • Thanks for the quick reply mate :) I'll start only using two.

They are currently just the ones that came with the light, two daylight and two blues(atinic-not sure how to spell it :p

Any idea roughy how much they are? I may do it in the future. I'm tight on cash at the moment >.<

For yours at 54watt, they start at about $20 and can go up to about $45, depending on quality of the tube.

These are online prices, then add delivery costs, I hope that helps ;)
