Lead (Pb) wire, bulk supplies?

Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help.
I'm wondering where to get bulk supplies of the lead (Pb) wire that is used to weigh down plants. I tend to plant in big bunches and find the common short strips insufficient in both length and mass, plus my fish rip up/dig up everything too.
So far I've resorted to aluminium bonsai wire and fishing sinkers, but the wire is too stiff and does wrap easily.
So... I assume that plant suppliers have a giant reel of the lead wire and just cut it as needed. Where/how can I get my hands on a few meters of the same stuff?!

Hi there, I'm not totally sure but I know that leadlighting shops sell strips of soft lead, usually for glass obviously but they may have a thin strip type that may suit your needs. Good luck! ;;)
