DIY tank stand
I'm putting a tank in my undercover area....because this area gets hosed quite a bit, a wood or steel stand is not appropriate, so I went with besser blocks
I gave em a quite coat of matt black spray paint, stacked them up. The ply board has been wrapped in builders film and sealed in to keep out any water also...

Hey Alasse, showed a mate your stand and he was very interested in one him self, wanted to know what size is the one in the photo and at what expense, cheers

This one is for a 6x2x2
Theres 24 besser blocks in the stand, they are around $3.60each. The board a fellow fishkeeper did for me for $35 cut to size and delivered. I bought some builders film to wrap the ply in, I think that was around $10. Then 4 cans of black matt spray paint....cheapest I've seen is around $4/tin
So the stand cost around $120, but I didn't notice it as I just bought a few blocks when I had some spare cash. I had plenty of time to collect all that was needed -
