How about encouraging people to join the forum by putting a "join the livefish forum" button on your Facebook page and encourage people to comment, ask questions, upload photos and get to know each other, the forum is all but dead apart from a few of us who still comment and start the occasional thread, even the Mods have all but given up here.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams.

Yeah,i get your point m8, I tend to agree, but people are busy, a lot of us are time stressed, and there are a heap of lively alternative fish forums around these days. I love this forum and miss the banter and humour and of course the wealth of knowledge behind this white screen - I could go on - spose its up to us to hang in there and wait for the circle to turn. Yeah this isn't the only fish forum I'm a member of, but it's the only one that has had no new activity in ages we have got to do something to keep it alive, like you I really like this forum.

Oi this Mod hasn't and never will , & how do it do that button thingy?
I been really busy, my sons here with us for a stay and I have rescued some new chickens & I had to dismantle and redo their coup to house them all
but bk on topic, It's always the same over Christmas Heintz, Bit then the kids go back to school & everyone gets back into things again 
plus with fbonk now.. people find it easier to communicate on there it seems, Just us die hard loyals here :-<

It'd be good if the Livefish website made our forum a bit more noticeable rather than just a small link next to all the shipping info and policies.

All we as members of the forum can do is, promote the forum, I'd be surprised if many people knew there even is one

I think it's been like a year since I was on here last. Came along today to see if anyone still gets on here (some moderator I am). My main issue was the change of forum software. I find this much harder to read than the old system was.
Facebook hasn't helped much either (not just here - forums in general). There's people that don't even know how to open anything but Facebook. And these are the sorts of people that tend to want to talk about their hobbies, so they look up Facebook groups.
It's sad, because there was a pretty solid core group here before. Always happy to help the random newcomers. -
I agree, the social media is easier to navigate, but forums don't really die they are there anytime "I'm a Doug Addict"

I am still on aswell as me there is Mooo, Bob, Rainbows, Frayk and Heintz.G. TallTree01 and Alasse use to be on all the time but I think he has stopped using the forum.

I agree, activity breeds more, But, Just don't bring up old dead threads please As for changes, Livefish is a family run business, they aren't millionaires, You need money to do the things you are wanting from your 'free' forum "I'm a Doug Addict"
