Shock-horror!

Whilst feeding Jardy crickets yesterday he got excited and leapt out of his tank!!!!!!!! X_X On the floor he flipped and spun, till I managed to get him back in.He has some scales missing and is looking a bit worse for wear, I added gel coat, what else can I do to ensure he s ok? Cheers [-O<

8-} crazy fish , He should be ok , just keep an eye on him, Keep the water clean az,
maybe a weak dose of melafix, might keep off any fungus where the scales are missing good luck

Thanks T Ts, did a 50% water change and dosed tank with Mela - fix, Jardy sulking about, but I reckon he ll be ok, cheers.

I can't believe I missed this one, how is he doing? just keep an eye on his eyes and make sure you don't see anything like cloudy eyes or what looks like a bubble behind either eye, it's an Arrowana thing but can happen with Togas as well when they do a jumper, otherwise he'll be ok and keep up with the water changes.

Thanks guys, Jardys doin fine, eyes normal, back to feeding. It was my fault after all, hes bigger now, hungrier and being a top line predator more aggressive, we live - we hopefully learn, replacing the glass lid with a 25 ml Perspex one with a 1 inch square cut out of it, should do the trick, appreciate your concerns and advice / comments, cheers. :-bd
