Why do import laws in Australia have to be so strict

Australian import laws are all over the place simply because the departments in charge receive little funding. For example, you cannot keep foreign reptiles and need a licence to obtain native ones (there are exceptions) but foreign birds are obtainable without a licence whilst native ones still need them.

I like your tanks expect they are a bit dark you should replay put them near a window of something

This tank is outside lol I can see the fish no probs. But to get a pic I need to take the pic at night because of reflection, and the tank does not have a light over it as we are not often out there at night

Most fish are more comfortable in the dark. The more shade in a tank the better. So long as they can see they prefer only a little light and too much can stress them out.

It's way more natural to have dim lighting or none the lights are only so we can see our fish really lol and maybe to grow light hungry plants
