I gave the goldie tank a 90% WC and moved a bit of the décor around...

Water changes won't do much to affect a cycle. All the bacteria is found in the substrate and filter. Very few to be found in the water column floating about.

All my tanks get large WC. Never had an issue with the cycle, I have well established filters.
