Ordering specific sex of livebearers

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if Livefish now accept requests for a specific sex when ordering livebearers? I really need female Platys and, as you can imagine, it will be chaos in the tank if i end up with males.

You could also ask on Facebook sadly they don't frequent the forums.

I have received a response. Although they can't guarantee that i will get the specific sexes i asked for, they will do their best to accommodate my request. I have now placed my order & my fish should arrive mid next week. I'll let you know what i end up with

It's not often they do specific requests like this Consider yourself fortunate As sexing young livebearers isn't easy as one would think ..

I received my new fish, almost as i asked for. I asked for one male & the rest female and ended up with all females. I'm more than happy with all females tho. Just a tad disappointed that my black & white platy looks nothing like the pics. She is pretty much all black with just a little bit of white around her face & under her belly. I was hoping for half half as the pic showed. Nevermind, she is still pretty, just thought i'd mention it in case someone else orders one expecting it to look the same as the pic
