Hi,
I was given a tank and this is my first attempt with fish n plants. The tank is 60cm x 30cm x 30cm Everything has been removed and its now just a naked tank.
The following is what im planning on buying for it...
Light

And will make something for a moonlight look
Heater
Aquael easy heater 75w
Filter
Aquael Fan 1 plus
Would the above firstly all work together and be sufficient for the tank size etc?
Are they of ok qualify?
Will be around 20 ish tetra fish

Just tetras, or would you like bottom dwellers and top dwellers as well? Here is a good video on how to increase how many fish your filter can handle

Welcome, its only a 50 lt tank, do some research on how many fish you can have.

Just a query, with hang on back filters, what about power failures? {blackouts] Do they need priming to get them going again? Too busy atm to research them, working far away from my PC.
