Hi,
I was wondering if the Aqua One ThermoSafe Heater 300W was a decent heater for a 250L tank.
I was also thinking of Eheim. Can anyone give me some recommendations about the size of heater and brand.
Also would you use two heaters or one.
Thanks

1w of heater, heats 1 litre of water, so a 300w heater should be ok for 250lt tank, Aqua one are ok, if you can afford a better brand then do it, Eheim etc.

    Hi Icemist,

Have a look at the Aquael range of heaters, not the cheapest but reliable, accurate and made in Europe not China.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams.

I am presuming you are talking about the Aquael Gold? I can not find much information about them. Are they fully submersible? and what is there reputation like?

No, I was referring to the Aquael Professional series, but I have read some good reviews on the Gold series, I hope this helps.
