Good quiet HoB
I currently have an aqua one horizon 130 tank it came with an aqua one filter the filter is a bit noisy(not spashing water but motor or something) what is a good quiet filter? Are aqua clears overated?

Check the impeller, hang on back filters require priming

I poor water till it overflows ive checked the impeller it just doesent seat propoly in the housing. Thanks anyway

Nothing in the impeller housing that is preventing it to seat properly?
On the other hand, a spare can be useful!

Another question has any one had any experiance with eheim aquaballs or no anything about them cant seem to find much on the net?

From all reports Aquaclear hob's are a good filter, as far as Ehime filters are concerned there's mixed reviews since they outsourced most off their products.Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams.

Well think a miracle happened (not really) but after cleaning the impeller and filter multiple times and just putting up with it at night I’ve noticed it’s become a lot quieter and I placed some rubber against the tank so it won’t vibrate as much and with the lid of I can hardly hear it but maybe some sought of lubricant might make it silent. Thanks for your help but might get a high quality filter anyway.
