Hi Janelle,
Congratulations!!! These guys are usually pretty good parents though they might not be all that successful the first few times especially if they are young.
There is often enough small food in the tank for them to grow on when they are very young.
Other fish in the tank and filter intakes are the biggest problem for young fry but I wouldn't try to net out other fish as this will upset the parents and you are likely to loose them all in that instance.
You can offer crushed flake, fry food which is available at most aquarium shops or you could try your hand at "infusoria" cultures. There are a number of methods but google is your friend.
